The Hometown Fair is run entirely by volunteers, so without your support, we can't do it.
You might not know that Hometown Fair planning started back in April for an event in October! Crazy, right? Well, not really when you consider the task ahead of us.
Running the Tri-Tip Booth is a serious undertaking for many of us Boosters, but we love it and know the new volunteers will too. You will be back in future years!
To put this in perspective, we are literally running a restaurant at a park with volunteers who don't run restaurants or provide tri-tip sandwiches at scale like we are here. Sure, you're feeding your son after practices, but now do that for 2k people? Crazy, right?
So we're all learning and relying on those who came before us to know what to do, and we're relying on you, the volunteers, to make it rock.
NO VOLUNTEERS, NO HOME TOWN FAIR
This will blow you away, as I know it did for me, but we have over 120 spots to fill with parents and players. Think about that number. We have 110 boys in our program, so we need every family to pitch in.
But TRUST US Once you do HOMETOWN FAIR with the Mira Costa Football team, you will be hooked!
